| Design of the Letter 'B' |

The letter 'B' is created with a straight line '|' and the number '3'. The two elements separated appear as the number thirteen. In the science of numbers, thirteen is the vibration of mystery and magic. Mystery is hidden knowledge, truth or wisdom. Magic is the love power that instantly changes a fear-based way of seeing, feeling, thinking, responding or doing into a quality which arises from the fiery core of the heart. When we intuitively perceive the letter 'B' beyond its form, we discover that it is the container of these two feminine attributes, mystery and magic. |
| The Mysterious Feminine |

The Egyptian Arcane representing the letter 'B' illustrates the mystery of the feminine. We find her seated between two columns, one black and one white. She wears a veil over her face and holds a partially concealed scroll on her lap. Her head is crowned with a crescent moon. The Egyptian Arcane reveals that wisdom of a higher nature can only be accessed by one choosing to advance their soul life. The path of an initiate includes harmonizing opposites, represented by the black and white columns. Examples of opposites are: good-evil, rich-poor, health-sickness and success-failure. In harmonizing opposites we blend the polarities together into a new expression. |

The picture symbol or hieroglyph of the letter 'B' is house. We are the house in which we dwell, and from which we organize and attend to our physical world, our mind development and emotional health. When we direct our lives with the wisdom of the feminine, we become a House of Gold. This potential is encoded within the word alphabet. The Hebrew letter corresponding to the English 'B' is Bet. The House of Gold is the dwelling Place spoken of in the Scriptures of Light.

All that is in form has its origin in Bet. Her power is one of formation, thus all sounds and archetypal patterns have their beginning in Bet. These latent sounds and patterns are revealed to us as we unveil the potential Bet residing within us. Through activating this capacity we become universal co-creators and members of the House of Light. |

Our life companions in this time of a new Exodus are serenity and contemplation. Only in the stillness of the emotional waters can the wisdom of the feminine be unveiled. This emotional and mental calmness happens when we invite the Goddess of Wisdom to grace us with her wand of peace. In this aura of serenity we "see" the changes we must make in our lifestyles and attitudes in order to enter our new sacred Home. |
